Global Health Equity

Dr. Paul Farmer, the founding director of Partners in Health, an organization that provides health care services and research focusing on diseases that disproportionately afflict the poor, discusses how social forces contribute to disease burden and shape access to timely diagnoses and effective treatment through an examination of impoverished nations like rural Haiti and Rwanda.
