Now available on the CMS Website is updated information on Medicare’s 2009 Low Income Subsidy (LIS) Estimates to assist in targeting LIS outreach in Virginia. This information is organized both graphically, in maps, and as a data table. Attached is a brief guide to assist you in using the data.
Also available are Medicare’s 2009 State Fact Sheets on Parts C and D, as well as a consolidated page of Medicare Online Tools, including the Drug Plan Finder, and the Nursing Home, Home Health, Dialysis Facility, and Hospital Compare sites which allow Medicare beneficiaries to compare healthcare institutions in their area.
