VDH Public Service Week activities.

The Office of Minority Health and Health Equity is planning activities for “A Celebration of Cultures: Celebrating VDH’s Diversity!” Live – Learn – Work & Play! Please join us on Tuesday, May 3rd 2011 in the Mezzanine Hall for Exhibits and the Mezzanine Conference Room for music and dancing from 12:00 – 1:30 pm.

Activities:

Multicultural Exhibits….

Organizations and/or individuals will share their cultural artifacts from their personal culture/heritage or from travel. There will be tables set up to not only display your cultural items but we will provide information about programs, resources, etc., targeting needs of our diverse populations Multicultural Music/Dance… We will have multicultural music, dancing! Come… Lead a dance! Learn a dance! Enjoy different types of music!

How can you support this effort?

Participate as an office or individual. Share your resources and let others learn by viewing your cultural treasures, or if you would like to participate please contact Collette Frazer at (804) 864-7422 or at collette.frazer@vdh.virginia.gov . We look forward to hearing from you.
