De-Stress for Women's Wellness June 14

 Women's Health Virginia's 16th annual conference will examine the visible and hidden impacts of stress on women, both immediate and longer term, and ways to deal with stress.  Of particular interest to CACV members will be discussion of the links to the development and progression of diseases (including cancer, other chronic and autoimmune diseases), healing and aging. 

Other topics include impacts on behaviors, reproductive functioning and of maternal stress on children's development); concerns about mental health; and strategies to manage, reduce and treat (conventional and complementary) stress.  June 14 at the University of Richmond.  CME and continuing education for nurses, CHES, MCHES, social workers, and dietitians.
