In addition to our information for researchers, policymakers, and clinicians, we are a resource for health department programs to educate Spanish-dominant Hispanics about health care.

For example, the attachment is a podcast from our Healthcare 411 en EspaƱol program. These are 60-second, audio health care advice and information podcasts by AHRQ's Dr. Ileana Ponce-Gonzalez that hospitals and other organization can download from AHRQ's Web site. We produce two a month for Spanish-language radio stations and organizations interested in using them on their Web sites, where visitors can listen to them online or download them to MP3 players and home computers.

To listen to our other podcasts to date and to subscribe to them, go to
http://healthcare411.ahrq.gov/ for English and click on "Espanol" for the ones in Spanish.

To view our 10-minute video on safe and effective use of "blood thinners" or anticoagulant drugs, go to:

English Version:

We also have a large number of consumer publications on prevention, comparative effectiveness, and other topics. To see these and other audiovisual products in Spanish, go to
http://www.ahrq.gov/consumer/espanoix.htm. We can provide up to 1,000 copies of each consumer publication and 500 copies of the video.

Finally, in case you haven't already seen it, I wanted to give you the link the just - released 2009 National Healthcare Disparities Report:
