A New Appointment Deserving of National Recognition

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Marissa Levine, Chief Deputy Commissioner for Public Health and Preparedness, has been appointed to the Federal Advisory Board of Scientific Counselors for the Office of Public Health, Preparedness and Response in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.  Clearly, this reflects national recognition of Dr. Levine's diligent work and leadership in Virginia's preparedness and response efforts.  Please join us in congratulating her for this honor.
